BASELINE SURVEY FOR SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT FOR TRANSFORMATIVE HEALTH

SETH project is a three year project (2017-2020) implemented by Helen Keller International (HKI) and Action Against Hunger (ACF) in five counties of western Kenya. The program aimed at providing technical assistance to county health management teams to promote improvements in performance of and access to Maternal, new born and child health and nutrition programs (MNCHN) services.

Scope of Work

Conduct Quantitative and Qualitative baseline data analysis aimed at:

  1. Measuring the performance of key MNCHN services at facility level
  2. Identifying weaknesses, strengths and gaps in management of the facility
  3. Identifying barriers to access services at community level
  4. Identifying management strengths and weaknesses at county level
Results

  1. Generated a detailed report of the baseline study findings that informed the design of the project
  2. Provided baseline indicators for the projec
