The overall goal of this project is to contribute to reduction in morbidity and mortality among refugees and host communities in Kakuma and Kalobeyei settlements, Turkana County in Kenya.  The project objective is to increase access to accountable and inclusive quality health and nutrition services among 64,097 refugees and 18,000 host communities in Kakuma and Kalobeyei refugee settlements through sustainable strategies in line with CRRF Kenya.

Scope of Work

  1. Provide leadership in designing and writing the proposal in response to the TOR
  2. Lead the project team in designing the project methodologies and approaches
  3. Lead in writing all the components of the proposal including the Organizational Capacity and Experience, the Methodology and approaches, the work plan, staff organization, the works schedule and deliverables, the M&E plan and packaging of the key experts CVs.

Results

AICHM  was awarded the status of being a UNHCR implementing partner in Kakuma Camp and receives funding from UNHCR to implement Health and Nutrition activities.
